Alarming Facts
- 1% dehydration leads to thirst.
- 2% dehydration causes feeling of anxiety, reduced appetite and energy by 20%.
- 4% dehydration brings feeling of nausea, dizziness, emotional instability, fatigue.
- 6% dehydration leads to loss of coordination and coherence of speech.
- 10% dehydration causes thermoregulation failure in addition to all above mentioned symptoms. Cells begin to die.
- At 11% dehydration it's not enough just to drink water. The chemical balance of the organism has undergone serious changes. At this point, professional medical care is required.
- 20% dehydration may lead to death.

Water Fact
Drinking too much water too quickly can lead to water intoxication. Water intoxication occurs when water dilutes the sodium level in the bloodstream and causes an imbalance of water in the brain.

Chronic Dehydration - A Catch-22
When the human body is chronically dehydrated, it loses its ability to absorb water. Even with fresh, pure water available, thirsty cells cannot receive the water they so desperately need. The reason for this is simple. In a stressful environment, cells become rigid and are unable to absorb water, release toxins, or produce energy. This causes the cell-ironically enough-to be further dehydrated, resulting in a Catch-22 situation. In effect, dehydration causes further dehydration.
Creating an environment where the cells can relax is the first step in restoring the body to a properly hydrated state. If cells are under stress, the autonomic nervous system will favor the sympathetic over the parasympathetic, causing the body to sustain an abnormally stressful state. Constriction and rigidity block cellular communication, nutrient uptake, and mitochondrial function.
Resetting the body's ability to absorb water requires specific intervention. Energetix' ReHydration remedy provides specific assistance at the cellular level in the following ways:
